High Capacity Extraction and Make-up Air System

Allen Air was selected to design, supply, and install a high-capacity extraction and make-up air system for the commercial kitchen at Sunny Social, the newest dining venue at the main clubhouse. Our team engineered a custom ventilation system, integrating rigid metal ductwork, a large-capacity extraction fan, and a commercial evaporative air-conditioning unit to ensure proper airflow and kitchen efficiency. The system was carefully balanced to prevent kitchen fumes from entering the dining area, maintaining a comfortable environment for both staff and patrons.

Key Features of the Project:

• Custom-engineered extraction system with rigid metal ductwork to fit within the constrained ceiling space.
• High-capacity extraction fan designed for commercial kitchen ventilation.
• Commercial evaporative air-conditioning system providing make-up air, ensuring proper air balance.
• Custom-designed commercial cool room and refrigeration system to support kitchen operations and tap beer service.
• Additional cool room installation at Caddies, the driving range’s food and beverage service area, providing refrigeration for tap beer and food storage.

All work was completed to Australian Standards and NCC2019 compliance, ensuring efficiency, safety, and long-term reliability.
