About the role:

As an apprentice, you’ll receive on-the-job training while working alongside experienced technicians to install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration systems. You’ll develop the technical skills and industry knowledge needed to build a successful career in HVAC.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting in the installation, servicing, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Learning to diagnose faults and troubleshoot equipment
  • Performing routine maintenance under supervision
  • Following workplace health and safety procedures
  • Attending TAFE and completing required coursework

What we’re looking for:

  • A strong interest in the HVAC industry and a willingness to learn
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team and take direction from qualified tradespeople
  • A commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
  • A current driver’s licence (or working towards obtaining one)
